In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
All praise is due to Allah, the Subduer of tyrants, the Annihilator of oppressors, the Pursuer of the fugitives. And blessings and peace be upon the Master of Messengers and the Seal of Prophets, Abul Qasim Muhammad, and upon his pure, immaculate, and infallible progeny, and his chosen companions.
And thereafter, the Almighty said, “I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan:”
“And do not lose heart and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are believers.” (Al-Imran: 139)
Tribute
O courageous youth of Karachi! O sons of the word of truth! O brave soldiers of the Hussaini army! O students of the school of Imam Sadiq (A.S.)! O those who enforce Jafari jurisprudence in Pakistan! O my dear brothers and respected sisters! Peace be upon all of you.
In what words can I express my feelings? I have no words to respond to your emotions and sentiments. In fact, the truth is that today, your emotions for the glory of religion and truth have reached such a level that they cannot be conveyed through words. This is a clear reality that can only be perceived.
O Pure Ali! O Ali, the proof of truth! O Ali, the great sign of God! O Ali, the remover of difficulties! In your time, you used to complain to the people of Kufa that when you asked them to go out for jihad in summer, they would make excuses about the intense heat, and when you asked them in winter, they would make excuses about the cold, saying, “Wait until the cold ends and the summer begins, then we will go out for jihad.” O Ali of Truth! Come and see the youth of Karachi today; they fear neither heat nor cold when it comes to protecting your name and your school of thought. Everywhere they raise the slogan of “Ali! Ali!” O Pure Ali, O Ali of Truth! Today, you are witnessing and observing the feelings of our youth.
One who denies Ali (A.S.) cannot be a Shia
O Ali! Today, some people are conspiring and want to instill in the minds of our innocent youth that there are some individuals among Shias who deny Ali (A.S.). How then can they hope for your intercession? Such a person cannot even be your Shia.
Listen! Today, in this gathering, when we raise the slogan of Ali (A.S.), all those propagandas and conspiracies will be invalidated and abolished. I say that there is no one among Shias who denies Ali (A.S.). If there is anyone among Shias who denies the slogan of Ali (A.S.), we curse them. However, here I would like to request that you do not raise slogans for me at all; I am not worthy of them. If you want to raise slogans, raise them for your Master and Lord, Imam Mahdi (A.S.), and then for the inheritors of these Imams (A.S.), the rightful deputy of Imam Mahdi (A.S.), Khomeini the idol-breaker, who has given you and us the courage to come out into the field for our rights.
O oppressed Hussain! O beloved of Zahra (A.S.)! O Master of the oppressed! O Leader of the martyrs!
On the day of Ashura in Karbala, our youth, elders, children, and women were not present to answer your call of “Is there any helper to help us?” But today, our youth, elders, and children, responding to your call, have established your mourning ceremonies throughout every corner of Pakistan, and whoever tries to stop them, they will trample them underfoot and move forward. O Hussain (A.S.)! If on the day of Ashura our youth could not sacrifice themselves at your feet, today they are shedding their blood on the land of Karachi in your name, and with their blood, they have written on this land:
- “We can sacrifice our heads, but we will not abandon the mourning of Imam Hussain (A.S.).”
Our Resolve
O Great Khomeini! O Khomeini, the crusher of disbelief! O Khomeini, the subduer of East and West! O inheritor of Pure Ali (A.S.)! O rightful deputy of Imam Mahdi (A.S.)!
- If you raised the slogan of Islam on the land of Iran, our youth have also resolved to implement Islam in Islamic Pakistan.
- If on Women’s Day you appealed to Muslim women to follow the conduct of Lady Fatima Zahra (A.S.), then our sisters in Pakistan, responding to your call, have also resolved to adopt the conduct of Fatima Zahra (A.S.).
- If you told the youth in Iran to populate the mosques because mosques are our strongholds, then the youth of Pakistan, responding to your call, have also made mosques into bunkers and rushed towards mosques to learn Islamic knowledge.
- If you declared Quds Day for the unity of Muslims so that the first Qibla might be liberated, then the youth, elders, and women of Pakistan, responding to your appeal, observed Quds Day and raised slogans of “Death to America,” “Death to Russia,” and “Death to Israel.”
Our Leader’s Mission and Our Commitment
O deceased leader! O great Mufti! O Mufti Jafar Hussain! For the cause for which you traveled every corner of Pakistan in your old age and endured hardships, and for which you began this great mission, today the youth, elders, children, women, and scholars of Karachi, all in this gathering, are saying with their expressive tongues:
“O deceased leader! Rest peacefully in your grave; we will never forget your mission.”
We would also like to say to the martyred jurist of Jafari jurisprudence: O Muhammad Hussain Shad! O martyred jurist of Jafari jurisprudence! For the cause for which you shed your blood on the land of Islamabad, today our youth have resolved that we will not let your blood go to waste and will complete this objective. In fact, we tell you that as days pass, your blood will yield more and more fruit.
We don’t care what anyone says, or if anyone forgets Jafari jurisprudence because of the Sharia Bill, or if the Islamic Ideological Council later issues a statement that they will not exempt anyone from Usher and Zakat. Let them speak; we do not consider their decisions legal. When we have no representative among them, how can we accept their decision?
We have already decided, and on July 6th, our martyr signed this agreement with his blood, that for Shias in Pakistan, only and only Jafari jurisprudence will be enforced, and nothing else.
God bears witness that seeing your emotions and sentiments, I address myself, “If you are lazy in walking with these scholars, youth, and these brothers and sisters who are moving forward with such firm resolve, this caravan will proceed towards God, and you will be left behind.”
May God grant us the ability to truly serve you as your humble servant and helper, according to your expectations. From the very first day, I made a vow to myself that if my blood and everything I possess could be of use in this path and for this cause, I would not hesitate at all. If there is no positive point in my life, then let this worthless blood become a means of serving Islam, and may I be honored in the presence of Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad (peace be upon them).
Since you have endured the hardships of travel in this heat and are undoubtedly tired, I will not bother you further.
Conclusion
God willing, I will be with you for a few days, and we will discuss all our difficulties with you. Finally, I thank all of you in general, and the scholars in particular. Similarly, all the organizations—and if I mention names, some might be left out and become upset—as well as my sisters and women, all of you who expressed your feelings and emotions in various ways, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I hope that if you remain with us, that day is not far when all our problems will be solved, and we will gain our rights and live in peace.
And peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you all!
